The problem

Nigerian poultry farmers run their business on memory, notebooks, and guesswork.

Feed goes into the house, birds come out, cash gets spent in between — but almost no one tracks any of it against what it should be. The result: mortality that could've been caught earlier, a FCR that nobody knows is 2.1 instead of 1.5, and birds that get sold at ₦1,800 live-weight when a buyer in Wuse would've paid ₦2,400 for the same bird — if they could trust the records.

VeriYield is the operating system for that farm. Day-by-day records, honest numbers you can act on, and a verified Farm Passport you can show any buyer. Built for one farmer with 300 birds. Scaling to the layer running 2,000, the turkey farm, the layer-and-broiler combined operation, and — eventually — every protein smallholder in Africa.

What VeriYield does for you

📋

Daily records

Three taps to log mortality, feed, and expenses. Breed-specific weight targets, vaccine schedules, and FCR calculated automatically.

🎫

Farm Passport

Every batch builds a verified production record — vaccinations, mortality, feed, vet sign-off. Share one record with any buyer.

🐔

Sell direct

Listings go out as WhatsApp-ready text. Buyers see your passport before they ask the price. Skip the middleman cutting ₦200–400 off every bird.

💰

Know your numbers

Owner sees finance, cost per bird, margin, break-even. Manager sees today's ops — no finance exposure. Multiple farms, one dashboard.

Three steps. Then just log daily.

No download, no app store, no training. Opens in Chrome and installs to your home screen.

Who's behind it

Built by someone with the receipts.

VeriYield is being built in Abuja by a small team. The founder spent five years in digital tech — most recently building asset management, inventory, and procurement software for a UK nursery group running across six branches — before returning to Nigeria in 2026 to focus on protein infrastructure for African smallholders.

We're not a VC-funded studio with a 50-person team. We're building VeriYield because the farmers we talked to — in Kuje, Bwari, and Gwagwalada — kept describing the same problem: no records, no leverage with buyers, no credit, no way to scale. We think the right tool, in the right language, on the one phone they already have, changes that.
